Artist Biography:
William Darton:
A landscape and seascape and genre painter. His home address is listed as Mount Batten, Plymouth, Devon. He painted mainly in South Devon, depicting many of the harbours and streets of the fishing communities.
He exhibited from 1887 to 1889, works included one at the the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour (RI) and one at The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
