Artist Biography:
Rubens A. J. N. Southey 1881 - 1933
Painter in watercolour of landscapes and coastal scenes who was born in Wellington, Somerset. He does not appear to have exibited widely but may have shown 9 works at Elands Gallery, Exeter in 1906 and 1907 under the name of Robert Southey. Subjects included The Coast near Bude, and Dartmoor, High Tor. He died at Newton Abbot in 1933 at the age of 53.
